The Band and Choir support BHS Athletic programs, Drama programs, Spirit Teams, the BHS community, and the greater community through performances at:

• Back to School Night

• Pep Rallies

• Football and Basketball Home Games

• Parades

• Play-a-thon

• Fall Musical

• Freshman Orientation

• Graduation

• Choir and Band concerts and music competitions

• Hospitality 

• And More!

Parent volunteers are busy behind the scenes at every single one of these activities, before, during and after them. Managing uniforms is an important undertaking and can only happen with many volunteers making individually modest contributions. Many activities are impossible without parent volunteers. Please review the volunteer activities and contact the parent lead for more information and to make your presence felt.

Scholarship Committee

Parent volunteers review applications for scholarships submitted by seniors in music programs. Parents of seniors are not included on the committee, and it is a good opportunity for parents who are new to the BHS music program to become more familiar with everything that happens during a music performance year.
